Risk Function focuses on giving the firm clarity on the risk profile of our activities and devising strategies to protect the firm’s ability to serve our clients effectively. Embedded in everything we do, risk management is key to effectively identifying, monitoring and anticipating the diverse array of risks the firm faces in serving clients and operating its global businesses, including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, operational risk,model risk,business risk, fraud strategy & collections. Risk Function is responsible for establishing policies & procedures to protect Drip Capital's business. 
Your Role 
  • Design and implement risk models & underwriting to manage complex financial risk.
  • Review lending and underwriting transactions, determine risk appetite and regulatory ratings, having developed an independent view of cash flow projections and of key documentation protection
  • Assess the credit and financial strength of the firm's corporate borrowers and counterparts by performing fundamental credit analysis using both quantitative and qualitative factor
  • Define and execute end-to-end credit and fraud risk management for prospecting, underwriting, line management, authorizations, customer management, and collections across entire portfolio
  • Minimize losses and manage risk via cutting-edge capabilities without compromising user experience
  • Accountable for the execution and continued enhancement of the Company’s risk management framework, including its risk guideline, and related processes to achieve its short term and long term strategic, financial and operational goals.
  • Helps further the Company’s culture of risk, serving as the primary risk liaison with its Board of Directors via the Risk Committee and with the Company’s executive management. Leads and provides key insights and direction to the management-level Risk Oversight Committee. Participates in various other management-level committees to provide risk-based perspectives and input.
  • Develops and enhances risk management-related infrastructure, including policies, processes, procedures and documentation to continue supporting the Company’s growth and decision-making.
  • Serves as a liaison with regulators in connection with risk management-related exams. Assists in responding to, and implementing, exam recommendations and findings.
  • Oversees the Company-wide risk assessment to identify and measure current and forward-looking enterprise risks.
  • Develops strong partnerships with leaders of various functional areas of responsibility within the Company to provide effective and credible challenges in assessing risk and to provide trusted practical advice and assistance in helping to support the Company’s business objectives.
  • Oversees risk management governance, including ensuring timely reviews and approvals of various policies and procedures, as applicable.
Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of risk management experience, with a background in corporate risk
  • Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
  • Demonstrable track record of independent decision making and the ability to steer client and business negotiations
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory rating requirements and application of such guidance
  • Must be able to lead and motivate engaged and diverse deal team, providing guidance to and supervision of senior/junior members of the team
  • Must be up-to-date with emerging business, economic, and market trends
  • Demonstrates strong technical skills required for the role, pays attention to details, takes initiative to broaden his/her knowledge and demonstrates appropriate financial/analytical skills
  • Successfully handles multiple tasks, takes initiative to improve his/her own performance, works intensely towards extremely challenging goals and persists in the face of obstacles or setbacks
