Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Lead to join our Sourcing Team. This individual will play a critical role in streamlining the end-to-end operations for global sourcing transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep operational insight, and prior experience in international logistics and customs clearance processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead daily sourcing operations, ensuring seamless execution of trade finance transactions across multiple geographies

  • Oversee international customs clearance processes—coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with import/export regulations

  • Identify gaps in the sourcing-to-shipping cycle and implement solutions to improve turnaround time, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness

  • Collaborate with internal teams (credit, product, tech) and external vendors (suppliers, logistics providers, customs agents) to drive smooth operational execution.
    Ensure accurate and timely handling of trade documents such as BLs, invoices, packing lists, COO, and customs filings

  • Proactively identify risks in cross-border operations and implement mitigation strategies, especially related to delays in customs clearance or non-compliance

  • Track key operational KPIs and provide insights to leadership for continuous improvement in sourcing and logistics processes

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field. Master’s is a plus

  • 12+ years of experience in operations, sourcing, or logistics, with at least 2 years in international customs clearance

  • Deep understanding of global trade compliance, Incoterms, and documentation requirements

  • Hands-on experience working with customs brokers and international freight forwarding companies

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • Experience in fast-paced environments like fintech, logistics, or trade companies preferred
