About the Role:

We are seeking an Intern, Investigation and Due Diligence to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong educational background in finance and a keen interest in financial operations. The internship will provide hands-on exposure to key financial processes and data analysis. Successful candidates will gain valuable experience in managing financial transactions, identifying trends, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.

This is a work-from-office position (5 days a week) based in Andheri-East, Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze Management Information Systems (MIS) reports using Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables, applying formulas, and conducting data analysis.

  • Interpret financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to derive meaningful insights.

  • Analyze financial and transactional data to identify discrepancies, patterns, and trends.

  • Scrutinize bank statements to detect irregularities, unusual transactions, or anomalies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Apply critical thinking to evaluate data and draw informed conclusions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively for coordination and reporting purposes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Candidates pursuing or having completed advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA in Finance) are a plus.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel; experience with pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis is essential.

  • Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial statements and the ability to interpret and analyze them.

  • Analytical Skills: Keen attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and trends in data.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration and reporting.

  • Work Ethic: Willingness to work in the designated shift timings and commit to the internship duration.
