Your Role:

The US Growth team at Drip focuses on onboarding SMB's clients in the US looking for innovative and customized supply chain financing solutions. The incumbent will play a fundamental role in achieving defined customer acquisition targets, generate revenue by mining accounts, cross-selling and opening more revenue streams, pioneer financial
products for businesses, and develop a growth strategy for the company. The business targets SMB's across the US, so the incumbent will need strong product
understanding, analytical thinking, team management, excellent communication skills, relationship building, enterprise negotiations, deal construction, and an interest in building networks to acquire new customers. The BU leader will be leading a team of Inside Sales managers and will be collaborating very closely with the marketing, risk, product, and operations team.
The company is looking for a dynamic and enterprising leader who can develop this into a USD 100 mn business over the next 3 years.

  • Participate in building the most advanced B2B Lending platform and future of trade finance with one of the fastest-growing cross-border lenders.
  • Devise and implement the market strategy for Drip Capital’s expansion and consolidation in the US market.
  • As a part of the senior leadership team, contribute towards the overall business strategy and operating plans.
  • Set both short-term and long-term goals for the teams individually and together.
  • Work with other business leaders & contribute positively to sales practices and standards within the company. Unlock opportunities for achieving sales efficiency across the organizational units.
  • Guide sales force to arrive at optimal team structure and composition. Ensure that the teams are motivated towards work and are at their optimal productivity level.
  • Monitor sales funnel & metrics and manage the entire sales administration process.
  • Owning sales targets overall and within accounts. Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve the same.
  • Be responsible for growing the sales team and individual contributors in your team.
  • Provide constant and constructive feedback to the team.
  • Collaborate & work closely with Business teams. Understand the short term and long term needs of the business and plan.
  • Build product and domain expertise by understanding product functionalities, market positioning, competitive landscape, product-market fit, and so on
  • Identify opportunities and develop innovative methods to establish a wide network in the SMB community and mine existing relationships to generate more customer leads

Our Checklist:

  • 10+ years of experience in an Inside Sales role serving international markets (preferably the USA)
  • Result/achievement oriented with a high degree of push power, pro-activity and operational focus.
  • A self-starter with high-energy levels and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A high degree of empathy; ability to develop credibility to positively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders – internal as well as external.
  • Humility, willingness to learn and proactive / at cause attitude towards the projects that come their way.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are relevant for a multinational, geographically and culturally diverse corporation.
