About Drip Capital

Drip Capital is a trade finance and working capital lender to small and mid-sized businesses across the US, India and Mexico. We have financed $10 billion+ for thousands of businesses on our platform. We fund our lending and growth through established bank facilities and a growing base of non-bank private credit investors.

Job Location : Andheri East, Mumbai (regular travel to Asian capital hubs; occasional US)

Experience : 5 - 10 years

About the Role

We are hiring a polished, client-facing professional with very high attention to detail to build and manage relationships with our non-bank investors. You'll focus on large family offices, wealth managers, private banks and investment managers in global capital and wealth hubs such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and the US. That includes NRI family offices and wealth platforms, and selectively India.

You will be bringing in investors who want exposure to short-duration trade finance assets: high-quality paper from a lender with a 10+ year track record and a leadership position in the markets we operate in.

You will own the investor relationship from first contact to close. That means opening doors, pitching Drip, handling diligence and closing investors yourself. Drip's senior executives join for larger investors when needed, and you will work closely with our two most senior leaders. We already have a strong base of supportive investors. This role is about expanding it. We want a hunter.

Key Responsibilities

Origination, Pitching & Closing

  • Build and actively work a target list of large family offices, multi-family offices, wealth managers, private banks, RIAs and investment managers, with a focus on offshore and NRI investors.
  • Run proactive outreach through email, LinkedIn, calls, introductions and events, against clear weekly activity targets.
  • Educate investors on trade finance as an asset class and why Drip's short-duration paper belongs in their portfolio.
  • Pitch and close investors yourself, and bring in senior executives on larger relationships when they can make a difference.
  • Represent Drip at investor conferences, roadshows and networking events.

Presentations & Data

  • Own the investor deck, one-pagers and investor-facing materials.
  • Work with our analytics team and loan-level data tape to present portfolio performance clearly: yields, duration, concentrations, delinquencies and vintage trends.
  • Coordinate DDQs, RFPs and data rooms, and make sure every number shared with investors is accurate.

Investor Relations & Reporting

  • Be the day-to-day point of contact for existing investors, and support repeat and larger allocations.
  • Manage quarterly updates, distribution notices, renewals and reporting timelines.
  • Track competing private credit offerings and investor appetite, and bring feedback on terms and positioning back to leadership.

Execution & MIS

  • Guide investors through onboarding, KYC and documentation, coordinating with Legal, Compliance, Finance and Administration across jurisdictions.
  • Own the CRM and produce a weekly pipeline report and monthly investor MIS for leadership.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Qualified investor meetings and pitches delivered each month
  • Pipeline growth and conversion to closed investors
  • New family office, wealth manager, private bank and investment manager relationships
  • Retention and renewal of existing investors
  • Accuracy and turnaround time on investor materials, DDQs and reporting

Candidate Profile

  • 6 - 10 years combining analytical and client-facing experience across private wealth, family office coverage, investor relations, or capital raising for private credit, AIF/PMS or other alternatives.
  • Track record of pitching and closing UHNI, family office and investors independently.
  • Existing relationships with large family offices and wealth managers, ideally including NRI and offshore networks in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, US etc.
  • Articulate, polished and confident in front of UHNIs and CIOs, with the presence to build trust quickly.
  • Comfortable with data and credit concepts (yield, duration, default and loss rates, concentration). Strong Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Uses Claude and other AI tools daily to be highly productive in research, outreach, materials and follow-up.
  • Willing to travel regularly and overlap with US hours a few evenings a week. CFA (any level) or MBA a plus.

Ideal Background

Our best fit has an analytical foundation and moved into client-facing roles. For example:

  • An undergraduate degree in engineering, economics, mathematics or finance, often followed by an MBA (ISB, IIM or equivalent).
  • Early career in an analytical seat such as equity or credit research, investment banking, consulting or a credit team.
  • A move into private wealth, family office coverage, institutional sales or investor relations, with a track record of building and growing a book of relationships.
  • A strong plus: international exposure, either through working, studying or living in the US, Europe, the Middle East or elsewhere in Asia, or by working at a global bank or financial firm in India (e.g., Goldman Sachs, Nomura, HSBC, JP Morgan). We value people used to high expectations on speed, quality of deliverables and getting things done across cultures. You understand the numbers well enough to defend them in front of a CIO, and you would rather be in the meeting than behind the spreadsheet.
